The landscape is dominated by rolling emerald tea plantations that cling to every hillside — the iconic BOH Tea Estate is one of Southeast Asia's largest and most picturesque. Average temperature of 18-25°C makes it the perfect refuge from Malaysia's tropical heat, attracting families, honeymooners, and nature lovers year-round.

Mossy Forest at Gunung Brinchang

Cameron's most ethereal experience — a mystical cloud forest at 2,031m (the highest accessible point by road in Malaysia) draped in thousands of moss species, ferns, pitcher plants, and orchids. The ancient trees are festooned with hanging moss, giving the forest an otherworldly atmosphere. The boardwalk trail winds through this UNESCO Biosphere Reserve for 500 meters. Rare wildlife including the Rafflesia (world's largest flower, blooms occasionally) and hornbills.

Strawberry Farms

Cameron Highlands is Malaysia's strawberry capital — over 20 strawberry farms along the main road offer pick-your-own strawberry experiences, fresh strawberry juices, strawberry ice cream, jam, and cheesecake. The cool highland climate is ideal for strawberry cultivation. Raub Farm and Kok Lim Farm are the most established. Visiting in the early morning gives the freshest produce. Also grow tomatoes, vegetables, and roses in abundance.

The Cameron Highlands Heritage Museum traces the area's colonial and agricultural history.
